World Bank's Djibouti portfolio stands at about $501m

According to the World Bank publication "Djibouti 2026: Our Commitment and Ongoing Projects", issued in March 2026, the International Development Association's portfolio in Djibouti comprises 11 projects, three regional operations and three trust funds totalling approximately $501m.

To this are added International Finance Corporation and MIGA contributions in affordable housing, port logistics, financial sector development and renewable energy, including support for the Ghoubet wind farm.

The Group's engagement is guided by the 2022–2027 Country Partnership Framework, supporting Djibouti's national Vision 2035 strategy, with priorities in job creation, strengthening human capital and building resilience to economic and climate shocks.
