PIF adopts a 2026–2030 strategy built on six domestic ecosystems
Saudi Arabia · 19 weeks ago
The board of the Public Investment Fund, chaired by the Crown Prince, approved PIF's 2026–2030 strategy in April 2026. The strategy organises investments into three portfolios: the Vision Portfolio, the Strategic Portfolio and the Financial Portfolio.
The Vision Portfolio is charged with delivering six competitive domestic ecosystems: Tourism, Travel & Entertainment; Urban Development & Livability; Advanced Manufacturing & Innovation; Industrials & Logistics; Clean Energy, Water & Renewables Infrastructure; and NEOM. The stated aim is to connect sectors, maximise value for PIF portfolio companies and continue driving economic transformation.
PIF had invested around SAR 750bn (close to $199bn) in new domestic projects between 2021 and 2025, and contributed more than $243bn to real non-oil GDP between 2021 and 2024 — equivalent to around 10% of the kingdom's total non-oil GDP in 2024.
