Israeli high-tech funding reached $15.6bn in 2025

Israeli startups raised $15.6bn during 2025, up 24% on 2024 and 68% on 2023, while exits totalled $74bn.
Deal volume fell to 717 rounds, the lowest in a decade: investors did fewer deals and committed significantly more capital to each. The median private deal size hit a record $10m, up 67% year on year.
Cybersecurity and generative AI took 40% of funding rounds and roughly 70% of total capital raised, while healthcare recorded 152 rounds — the highest of any sector. Nine rounds exceeded $200m each, led by Cyera with a combined $940m across two rounds. Exits were led by Alphabet's $32bn purchase of Wiz and Palo Alto Networks' $25bn acquisition of CyberArk.
