EGP 6bn third instalment for exporters — applications close 1 October

The Ministry of Finance has allocated EGP 6bn as a third instalment under the cash-settlement initiative for exporter arrears predating July 2024.

Applications run from 16 August to 1 October 2026, with payment scheduled for 22 October. The initiative is aimed at exporting companies holding outstanding dues with the Export Development Fund.

In the budget, the allocation for export rebates and exporter support rose to EGP 48bn in the current fiscal year from EGP 28bn the year before — annual growth of 55%. The ministry says it has paid more than EGP 80bn to exporters over six years.
